How Vanguard Found Itself On Top During "the Lost Decade"

Recommended Posts

Just think how far the likes of Morgan Stanley and Wall Street would have gone risking another trillon if there were no Vanguard.

Great article Tony. Its hard not to love Vanguard, the founder John Bogle and all of his principles. His ethics really came together and its proof enough for me that a low cost company can make enough money to survive and growth tremendously.

Have a good day,

Steve

Tony and Steve --

Remarkable, isn't it? What type of investment firms seemed to have avoided the scandals in the last year or two? How could you pick a good class of funds? Well, if I have read correctly, I can't think of any no- load fund family (Vanguard, Dodge and COx, Fairholme, Ariel, and many many others) that has been involved in the scandals. Remarkable coincidence.
