I'm reading great experiences with Aspire.  My district has Aspire as a vendor through Edward Jones.  At the same time,  I've read horrible things about EJ and their fees.  1.  Please explain to me how Aspire works in the 403b/457 space?  2.  If I go with them, do I pay EJ's fees?  Thank you.

If you google “Aspire 403b FAQ” and scroll down, you’ll see that you are not required to use an advisor. On the Aspire form you download, write in “self directed” and Aspire will not require an advisor. The EJ fees and rep will be out of the loop.
